WHAT MAKES EGYPTIAN BLOGGER ALAA ABDEL FATTAH SO DANGEROUS?

What intrigued to choose this article/podcast/talk:
I lived in the Mid-East for a couple of years and I still try to keep up with what is going on there. The revolutions that have spread across the region make me wonder about the changes that are happening in the area.

In what ways does it impact your own life:
I know people from Egypt, so it impacts their lives. Doesn’t change much for me right now, but it could have an impact on the larger world as changes continue.

List 1-5 important points you took from the article/podcast/talk:
I thought that the most important point was that even though Abdel Fattah focuses on social media, he said that the biggest tool in the revolution was the rocks that were thrown by protesters. The internet is a great way to communicate and organize, but it takes real world action in order for things to change.
