Why we should give free money to everyone

The article talks about the trials of giving residents a basic income and its effects. I’ve been very interested in this idea. One of the beliefs that I wrote about was that there needs to be a safety net so people are allowed to try big things without deadly consequences if they fail. This article brings up other good side effects, like better health, better school performance, and more time with family. In the end the experiments were not expanded to a national level. It was a missed opportunity. I am hopeful that there might soon be another possibility for action on this.
